Welcome to the Latinos of Tomorrow!

5:30-8:00 pm
Johnson County Central Resource Library
9875 W 87th St, Overland Park, Kansas 66212

Latinos of Tomorrow: Students in action

The Latinos of Tomorrow is the College Access, Readiness and Retention program of the Greater Kansas City Hispanic Collaborative and sponsored by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City.

The G.K.C. Hispanic Collaborative is a 501c3 charitable organization formed by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce board of directors to implement their youth and young adult development programs: Latinos of Tomorrow, KC BizFest and Young Latinos Professionals. The programs are set-up in a seamless developmental pipeline to assist students starting in 8th grade level in junior high through high school completion and preparing them for college. It continues to assist students through any post-secondary certification, undergraduate and graduate/professional degree completion programs.  Through Young Latino Professionals we even help jump start their careers!

The Latinos of Tomorrow was started in the summer of 2004 by students who had participated in the June 2004 KC BizFest.  The mission of the Latinos of Tomorrow is to provided leadership training to its members leading service learning projects or programs that provide learning opportunities in educational advancement, career development and civic involvement.  The Latinos of Tomorrow will   prepare students for college while in high school and then to follow them through until they complete college.

This year the G.K.C. Hispanic Collaborative will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of helping thousands of students through their Latinos of Tomorrow and KC BizFest programs.
